What is Corundum Brick

Corundum brick is a high-quality refractory material widely used in high-temperature industries such as metallurgy, petrochemical, ceramics, cement, and so on. Made from corundum as the main raw material, with a small amount of adhesive added, through high-pressure molding and high-temperature sintering.

The main characteristic of corundum bricks is their high fire resistance, which means that they can withstand extremely high temperatures without melting or losing strength. High melting point, about 2050 ℃, high softening temperature, about 1800 ℃. It also has excellent thermal shock resistance, which means that it can withstand rapid changes in temperature without cracking or fracture.

Another important characteristic of corundum bricks is their high chemical stability. It has good resistance to acids, alkalis, and other corrosive substances, which makes it suitable for use in harsh chemical environments. It is also resistant to erosion and wear, which makes it very suitable for use in environments with high mechanical stress.
